WHAT THIS RESULT MEANS

Using .PDF files in Figma

Figma does not provide useful native opening support for .PDF files. A conversion or alternative workflow is generally required before the content can be used.

Recommended Method

Figma Design does not natively import PDF files. Convert the PDF to SVG when editable vector content is needed, or to PNG or JPG when a flattened visual reference is sufficient, then import the converted file into Figma Design.

Compatibility Notes

The official Figma Design import documentation does not list PDF as a supported native import format. PDF import is documented for FigJam, which is a separate Figma product. For a Figma Design workflow, conversion is therefore required and may change text, structure, effects, or visual fidelity.

HOW TO READ THIS REPORT

Compatibility is more than a yes or no
